Human Futurology: Our story

We are a husband and wife team and we founded Human Futurology after realising that we had discovered something quite remarkable.

Chris always had an obsession with mathematical modelling and after discovering numerology in 2009, he became convinced that this so-called new age science had the potential to tap into a higher intelligence. Traditional numerology takes the numbers of a person’s birth date and the letters of their names and makes anecdotal predictions about their personality traits. Fine if you’re into that sort of stuff! But Chris started to decode these same numbers further and further, mapping out the different sequences that a person’s raw birth numbers produced. He started to see patterns, which he realised were coded synchronicities that matched key events in their lives.

He became convinced that there was a complex mathematical formula at the root of all our life paths, waiting to be unlocked.

Advancing new age science

He quit his job in banking and worked on decoding as many people’s birth dates and names as possible. Sometimes friends, sometimes public figures in the news. Fast forward five years and Chris had advanced his research into the first version of our formula, which we coined the Intelligent Mathematical Blueprint (IMB).

When friends and colleagues in our network heard about this research, they asked us to build their Intelligent Mathematical Blueprints to give them some insights on their life path. Often it was casual – rarely did people fully believe that a birth date and name could reveal anything substantial about their life trajectory! But every person to whom we applied the IMB analysis was astounded with the results.

Time again, Chris would pinpoint a year where a business failed, a relative died or, he’d identify a profound year and learn that this was when someone got married or sold a business. Sometimes our guinea pigs for our research were moved to tears.

We knew we were onto something. Fast forward another five years and Chris worked his formula to such an advanced stage, we were ready to start Human Futurology and apply this intelligence to entrepreneurs, business leaders and ambitious career professionals.

Life path predictive intelligence

Human Futurology is the term we give to the study of a person’s Intelligent Mathematical Blueprint (IMB). Our methodology is ever-evolving and we unlock new predictive sequences all the time. It is our goal to make Human Futurology into a recognised, robust science that can give unprecedented intelligence to individuals about how to forge their best life path.

Our background is not in mystic arts! Before founding Human Futurology we each had successful entrepreneurial careers. Suzanne founded and sold a successful advertising business. Chris started out as a research scientist in conservation before moving to banking. 

We worked as consultants too, and got asked to co-host TV and radio shows as a result. When we realised the magnitude of what the IMB can reveal, we moved to the UK from South Africa in 2023 to make Chris’s research a full-time business to help people unlock their boundless potential.

Born in South Africa, Chris started his career as a research scientist in conservation, studying ecological systems of rare species. Wanting to expand his understanding of the business world, and his love of maths, he moved into retail banking, where he served as Divisional Executive.

As a High Functioning Aspergers (HFA), Chris had always had an obsession with mathematical models. So when someone introduced him to numerology in 2009 it changed everything! He instantly knew that this practice, which many consider to be a ‘pseudoscience’, had the potential to be developed into a robust science. He quit his banking job a year later to develop his theory.

Through thousands of hours of research, Chris developed a unique number analysis methodology which he calls the Intelligent Mathematical Blueprint (IMB). He analysed the birthdates and names of hundreds of people – both public figures and his own network – spotting patterns and synchronicities, which predicted key events in their lives.

Alongside his research in developing the IMB, he acquired several coaching qualifications started coaching entrepreneurs on overcoming challenges, with Suzanne. This led to the pair being approached to co-host a radio show for aspiring entrepreneurs, sharing business strategy and advice, which later led to co-hosting a business TV show on CNBC Africa.

In early 2023, when he was confident his IMB had advanced to a level of accuracy where it could be applied to leaders of businesses to predict risk and opportunity, he and Suzanne founded Human Futurology.

About Suzanne

Suzanne Styles, Human Futurology, Human Futurist, Aspergers, Adult Autism, Intelligent Mathematical Blueprint

Born in the UK, Suzanne moved to South Africa as a teenager. Her career started in advertising, and she worked her way up to be the first female director in a large corporate in Johannesburg. An entrepreneurial spirit at heart, she was soon drawn to starting her own business and in 2002 co-founded an ad agency specialising in real estate, called Airport Media. It grew to win numerous industry awards, before being bought by a top media house ten years later.

She tried to replicate this success in 2011 with a second venture – an events business – with Chris. Unfortunately the business failed after 18 months, and the couple faced ruin. But she seized the learnings and, combining her two polar experiences of success and failure, began coaching other entrepreneurs, acquiring several qualifications along the way.

Through this, she was approached to co-host a radio show giving advice to entrepreneurs, and later guest present a TV business show on CNBC Africa.

A successful coaching career continued for 12 years until she and Chris moved to the UK in 2023 to found Human Futurology.
